Concerning allowing the adoption of a child under the jurisdiction of a court in Colorado who is not present in Colorado.

Adoption - present in state or under court jurisdiction. Prior to the act, in order to adopt a child, the child had to be present in the state where the adoption petition was filed. Under the act, the child need not be present in the state if the child has been under the jurisdiction of a court in Colorado for at least 6 months.
