The bill allows minors ages 16 and 17 who are preregistered to vote in elections for the state board of education, school district officers, and on referred measures regarding mill levies, property taxes, school district organization and representation, and school district financial obligations or indebtedness. Representative Gonzales-Gutierrez provided three handouts to the committee (Attachments B through D). She also distributed amendments L.001, L.002, L.003, and L.004 (Attachments E through H).
