The bill repeals obsolete statutory language related to the deadline for the creation of the statewide emergency medical and trauma care system by the State Board of Health. It also removes the requirement for the board to cooperate with the Department of Personnel and Administration in adopting criteria related to communication systems referenced by counties in regional emergency medical and trauma system plans.

The bill clarifies statutory language allowing members of the Radiation Advisory Committee in CDPHE to be compensated for their actual and necessary expenses and corrects a reference in statute where the committee is referred to as "the board."
