Sergeant Dave Hall and Sergeant Dan Haley, representing the Colorado State Patrol within the Department of Public Safety, presented a request to waive the six-month encumbrance deadline for the King Air Aircraft Engine Replacement project. Committee members received a written description of the request, prepared by Legislative Council Staff (Attachment A). Sergeant Hall explained why the waiver is needed.
