Lauren Lambert, Deputy Legislative Director for Governor Hickenlooper, introduced Robert Randall, the Governor's appointment to be the Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources.

Randall of Denver, appointed by the Governor to fill the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Mike King, discussed his experience and interest in serving as the Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources (Attachment A). He also responded to questions from the committee about natural resources challenges facing the state, the need for additional fee revenue for the Division of Parks and Wildlife, the regulation of oil and gas development, and other issues.
