Michael Nicoletti, representing the Department of Regulatory Agencies, presented the sunset report for the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) (Attachment E). Several letters about the report were entered into the record (Attachment F). Representative Weissman explained the process of a sunset hearing and how things are different under COVID-19 protocols. He explained that he is recommending that the House introduce a bill that includes the language in the SOMB Amendment (Attachment G). The amendment continues the SOMB for one year and bring it up again in 2021.
